Lennoxlove is not just about seeing your favourite authors at their events. Throughout the weekend, there are things to do and places in which to relax, shop and eat, all within the magnificent setting of one of Scotland's great country houses.
- Festival Bookshop
- The Festival Bookshop within Lennoxlove House offers a wide selection of titles by all the participating authors and will be open from 10.00am unil late for the duration of the Festival. Come and browse, and perhaps get a head start on your Christmas gift shopping!
- Book Signings
- Authors will sign copies of their books immediately after their events. Please be prepared to queue for a while for some of our most popular authors! Signed copies may be reserved in the bookshop.
- Festival Café Bar
- The licensed Café Bar will be offering a tempting selection of snacks and light meals, from soups and hot rolls to home baking. It will be open throughout the Festival from 10.00am until late for teas and coffees, and a selection of wines, beers and soft drinks.
- Knight Frank Family Book Festival
- For families, the Knight Frank Family Book Festival offers a selection of free activities including Storytime, Bookbug rhyme sessions, craft workshops provided by East Lothian Library Services, and the free mobile library van which will be at Lennoxlove throughout Saturday. In addition, there will be scheduled and ticketed events with some of our best-loved authors for children aimed at a cross-section of ages. Circus performers will be on hand throughout the weekend to entertain and maybe teach you a few tricks, while, to mark Guy Fawkes' night, there will be a spectacular fireworks display to open the Festival.
- CHAS
- Lennoxlove Book Festival is pleased to announce a new association with the Children's Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS). CHAS provides the only hospice services in Scotland for children and young people with life-shortening conditions. You can find out more about the charity over the Festival weekend and donate via collecting cans and volunteers throughout the venue. You can find out more about CHAS by visiting their website.
Visiting East Lothian

The county town of Haddington is an ancient market town with a vibrant centre and many historical connections. Other popular attractions include North Berwick's award-winning Scottish Seabird Centre, viewing Scotland's Concorde up close at The National Museum of Flight at East Fortune, and enjoying a wee dram at Glenkinchie Distillery at the foot of the Lammermuir Hills, just 5 miles from Lennoxlove.
